Data collection and use when visiting the website

You can visit our website without giving any personal information. Nevertheless, every time you request a file through your Internet browser access data (including the name of the retrieved page or file, date and time, Internet browser used, the page from which you have come to us (Referer), screen resolution and operating system, etc.) is send to and evaluated by us for statistical purposes. A passing on to third parties, also in excerpts, does not take place.

Data collection and use for orders in the webshop

If you order from the Glein webshop, we collect the following data: first name, last name, if necessary company, street name, postal code, city, country, telephone number, e-mail address, selected shipping method, selected payment method and possibly an individual message. Providing this data is required for the processing of all purchases made by you, otherwise you can not place your order. Providing your telephone number and a message are not required. If you provide us with your telephone number, we are able to contact you directly if necessary. By providing your telephone number you agree with us keeping it for this sole purpose.

If you place an order, we process the data you have entered exclusively for the processing of your purchase. We save this data, unless we are legally obliged (for example, by the regulations on accounting) to a longer storage, only as long as necessary - in principle until the end of the statutory period for claims under the contract.

The ordering process is handled by Snipcart; all payments through our payment partner Mollie. Therefore, we do not collect any data on the payment by credit card. The entire ordering process is encrypted via SSL.

Use and disclosure of your data

We use the data provided by you exclusively for the fulfilment of the contract and strictly in accordance with the statutory provisions. If necessary, a transfer of your data to other companies, e.g. the post office, other parcel services and payment service providers is taking place. These companies work for us as "contract processors" and may use your data only for the execution of specific orders. You are contractually bound by us to comply with the statutory data protection regulations.

In the case of a statutory provision, an official order or an official investigation, we are obliged to provide the respective data to the authority.
