WEATHER RESISTANCE
Matte black and made for movement: Our Shell Jacket is a wind- and weatherproof, lightweight jacket made from organic cotton. Comfortably cut with four generous pockets, a zipper, and a buttonable placket making it the perfect go-to for active urban adventures when the sun is scarce. A hood and drawstrings keep you dry while cycling or strolling.
BREATHABILITY
The fabric is made from extra thin and long staple cotton fibres using a traditional, tight weaving technique. When dry, it opens it's pores to breathe. When wet, the overtightened cotton fibres swell, thereby sealing the weave and making it waterproof. Nevertheless, organic cotton is a natural fiber: breathable, yet water-resistent.

It's clean and sophisticated design makes our Shell Jacket suitable for everyday wear and the office. Wear a mid-layer of Merino under the jacket to optimize individual insulation.

Materials& Production
100% Organic Cotton
The weatherproff fabric made from extra thin and long staple cotton fibres using a very tight and traditional weaving technique. When dry, the fabric opens its pores to breathe. When wet, the overtightened cotton fibres swell, thereby sealing the weave and making it waterproof.
Our organic cotton is sown and harvested manually without the use of genetic engineering, chemical or synthetic pesticides. Instead, the farmers use beneficial organisms and natural pesticides, such as an extract from neem trees.
Due to favourable climate and soil properties, Tanzania is particularly suited for organic cotton cultivation. Artificial irrigation is largely unnecessary.
In order to maintain soil fertility and biodiversity and to prevent soil erosion, our organic cotton is grown in crop rotation. The farmers are paid fairly and are also protected in the event of a crop failure. For more information on organic cotton, you can refer to our guide here.
Zippers and snap buttons from YKK
YKK is the original veteran among closure manufacturers. The exclusive snap button Premeo 7/10 is particularly well-known for workwear, sports, and casual clothing. The semi-automatic closure system is based on the FlexFix® technology, ensuring exceptionally high mechanical durability. In the eyelet, a flexible high-tech plastic is integrated, possessing spring-elastic properties. Numerous galvanic finishes make every snap button a design highlight.
