SPACIOUS & SOPHISTICATED
The Poldi Bag is a piece with a story as special as its design. Named after Grandma Leopoldine, who carried a similar bag in her youth, it is a homage to timeless craftsmanship. In collaboration with the Vienna-based label Natures of Conflict, we have reinterpreted it for the present day. An innovative draw-through handle, which doubles as a secure closure, allows you to wear the Poldi Bag short over the shoulder or long as a crossbody. The spacious bucket shape easily accommodates A4 documents and laptops up to 15 inches, making it the perfect companion for professional life. A separate interior compartment provides space for a mobile phone, keys, and other small essentials that need to be accessed quickly.
ROBUST
With its sturdy, unlined construction made from pure leather, the Poldi Bag reliably carries even the heaviest contents. This makes it exceptionally durable and versatile.
MORE BEAUTIFUL EACH DAY
The Poldi Bag is crafted from the finest vegetable-tanned cowhide leather. This leather, known as Vacchetta, is manually tanned using centuries-old tradition and refined with a mixture of natural waxes and oils. As a result, it gradually darkens over time, becomes increasingly supple with use, and develops its individual patina.

Leather Vacchetta from Italy
Vacchetta is a specific type of vegetable-tanned cowhide leather.
It's manually tanned using centuries-old tradition with oak bark and chestnuts, naturally dyed, and refined with a mixture of natural waxes and oils.
Through this particularly gentle manufacturing process, the leather retains many of its original qualities, becomes increasingly supple with use, darkens when exposed to UV radiation, and develops a unique patina.
We source our leather from a tannery founded in the 1970s in Santa Croce sull'Arno, Tuscany. We only use European raw hides, sourced as byproducts of the food industry.

Handcrafted in Croatia
Our Vacchetta Tote Bag is made in collaboration with a small family-owned business in northern Croatia, specialized in crafting high-quality bags and leather goods for decades. The workshop is located near Varazdin, about a 3.5-hour drive from Vienna, and currently employs around 15 skilled artisans.
Cleaning& Care
Our leather is conditioned at the tannery and well-prepared for everyday use. The main challenge for the leather is the possibility of drying out. Therefore, immediate dirt should always be wiped off from the bag. When not in use for an extended period, it's advisable to protect the bag from dust by storing it in a dust bag. For maximum durability, it's recommended to apply a high-quality leather conditioner to the bag about once a year.
MORE BEAUTIFUL EACH DAY
Uncoated leather develops a unique patina over time. The lighter the initial color, the more pronounced the patina will become. Any scratches or marks are part of the process and will blend into the leather's appearance after a short time. Through this natural aging, uncoated leather is very robust, durable, and easy to maintain.
