Vacchetta Box Bag M

Vacchetta is a special type of vegetable-tanned cowhide leather.

It is traditionally tanned in barrels with extracts from oak bark and chestnuts, naturally dyed, and refined with a mixture of natural waxes and oils.

This gentle manufacturing process retains many of the leather's original qualities, making it become more supple over time. It also darkens with exposure to UV radiation and develops a unique patina through use.

We source our leather from a tannery founded in the 1970s in Santa Croce sull'Arno, Tuscany. We exclusively use European rawhides, sourced as by-products of the food industry.

Our Box Bag is crafted in Hungary in collaboration with a family-run workshop that has specialized in producing high-quality designer bags for over 25 years. The workshop is located near Budapest in central Hungary, about a 3-hour drive from Vienna, and currently employs around 40 skilled artisans.
