VERSATILE
Our Vacchetta Tote Bag was designed as an all-purpose bag for everyday use. Its understated design and spaciousness make it a universal companion for coffee houses, the office, as well as formal occasions. A separate interior compartment provides space for a mobile phone, keys, or small essentials that need to be quickly accessed. Additionally, there is still enough room for everything that a long day might require.

With its sturdy, unlined construction made from pure leather, the bag is nearly indestructible and reliably carries even the heaviest contents. This makes our Tote Bag exceptionally durable and versatile.
MORE BEAUTIFUL WITH EVERY DAY
The bag is crafted from the finest vegetable-tanned cowhide leather. This leather, known as Vacchetta, is manually tanned using centuries-old tradition and refined with a mixture of natural waxes and oils. As a result, it gradually darkens over time, becomes increasingly supple with use, and develops its individual patina.

LEATHER vegetable tanned cow leather from Italy
Vacchetta is a specific type of vegetable-tanned cowhide leather.
It's manually tanned using centuries-old tradition with oak bark and chestnuts, naturally dyed, and refined with a mixture of natural waxes and oils.
Through this particularly gentle manufacturing process, the leather retains many of its original qualities, becomes increasingly supple with use, darkens when exposed to UV radiation, and develops a unique patina.
We source our leather from a tannery founded in the 1970s in Santa Croce sull'Arno, Tuscany. We only use European raw hides, sourced as byproducts of the food industry.

HANDCRAFTED in CROATIA
The bag is produced in northern Croatia in collaboration with a small family-owned business that has specialized in crafting high-quality bags and leather goods for decades. The workshop is located near Varazdin, approximately a 3.5-hour drive from Vienna, and currently employs around 15 artisans.
